How do I get there?

By train | From the Venezia Santa Lucia train station, you can take a water taxi directly to the hotel or the ACTV line 1 vaporetto to the San Stae stop. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the landing stage.

By car | From the Piazzale Roma car terminal, you can reach the hotel by water taxi or by the ACTV line 1 vaporetto to the San Stae stop. From Tronchetto take the ACTV line 2 vaporetto to Piazzale Roma and then ACTV line 1 to the San Stae stop. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the landing stage.

By plane | From Venice Marco Polo airport you can reach the hotel by water taxi to our private dock, or take the Alilaguna shuttle Arancio (orange)  line to the San Stae stop. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the landing stage.

Alternatively, take the ACTV line 5 bus to Piazzale Roma, from here take the ACTV line 1 vaporetto to the San Stae stop. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the landing stage.

Where can I eat?

Hotel San Cassiano has an agreement with the best restaurants in the area: Nono Risorto, Regina Sconta, Al Muro.

Remember to mention that you are staying at Hotel San Cassiano, and you will receive a free Welcome Drink or a discount on the price of dinner!

Also nearby you will find an organic mini-market, an excellent traditional bakery and a supermarket.

What is there to see in the area?

Our reception, open 24 hours a day, will help you organise visits to the museum centres near us: Ca’ Pesaro, the international gallery of modern art, Palazzo Mocenigo, the museum of Venetian fabrics, costumes and perfumes, and Fondazione Prada, home to sophisticated private exhibitions and prestigious events.

Don’t miss the Rialto fish market, a traditional venue where you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of bygone times (closed on Mondays).

How can I get to the airport quickly?

The water taxi reaches Marco Polo airport in just 25 minutes at a cost of €120 for up to 4 people, including luggage. Hotel San Cassiano offers private docking, and the staff will be pleased to help you with your luggage.

What is the most affordable way to get to the airport?

The Alilaguna Arancio (Orange) boat trip line leaves from the San Stae landing stage just 5 minutes from Hotel San Cassiano and reaches the airport in about 50 minutes. It costs €15 per person, including luggage.

At what time can we check-in and out?

Check-in is from 2:00 pm – check-out is by 11:30 am.

Our reception is open 24 hours a day and can store your luggage free of charge, meaning that nothing will hold you back from exploring Venice even before check-in or after check-out.

What does breakfast include?

The rate with breakfast includes a delicious continental breakfast with a buffet consisting of both hot and cold dishes, both sweet and savoury, with the possibility of ordering gluten-free dishes. It is served every day from 7:30 am to 10:00 am on the 2nd floor of the hotel with a breathtaking view of the Grand Canal.
